People are itching to get out of the big cities for some rest, relaxation, and respite from everyday life in lockdown forced upon them on and off since March 2020.

And there’s a whole host of reasons for people to visit Coffs Harbour and the region. It’s not just the beaches, the markets, the laid back eateries and drinks. There are regular events such as the OZTag Championships for juniors in February and OZTag for seniors in March which add bookings frenzy to any holiday let, along with Touch Football Australia holding its National Touch League event in March also. And if you’re visiting yourself, keep an eye out for Daryl Braithwaite performing at the Moonee Beach Hotel on Saturday the 15th January. It just confirms that Coffs is a draw card for great national and international performers.
Into the second half of the year, people flock for the annual Curry Festival in Woolgoolga, and turn up to either enter in or support the Coffs Harbour Running Festival – both events to be held in September. And the weather is always a draw card throughout winter – being sunny and definitely warmer than down south. November brings the people to the Blues & Berries Festival leading up to Christmas time, so Coffs Harbour Region is the place to be for one reason or another.
